Monty’s Minute – A message from Jeff Montgomery

The Sierras have received there first dusting of snow which will add to the spectacular back drop. 🏔️

Two additional safety notes for arriving and departing CTAF calls and general operations:

1.  PLEASE ADD ALTITUDE REFERENCES TO YOUR CALL PLUS GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION ETC.

The near mid air we had last year was being perfectly communicated geographically as the two aircraft passed over/under each other unintentionally close to one another.

2.  Most, perhaps all, of our close calls or questions in the past have been related to items covered in these information packets or were covered by leads during the fly day.   Let’s all take time to read the details and work collaboratively to achieve success during The Grateful 6..😍

Thanks for considering.

Cheers all.
